Educación y sociedad Journal is published in electronic format with academic and scientific character. It is annexed to the Faculty of Pedagogical Sciences at Máximo Gómez Báez University of Ciego de Ávila and it is issued every four months. Its objective is to divulge scientific and academic production generated at the University of Ciego de Ávila and other educational institutions from the province, the country and foreign countries with the purpose of promoting scientific exchange and the socialization of results in the scope of Sciences of Education.
Educación y sociedad Journal publishes its contents under the licence Creative Commons Attribution-NonComercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0). Its copy, transformation and distribution are allowed by any means unless the authors are acknowledged and it is not used with commercial purposes.
"Estrategia y Gestión Universitaria" is a scientific journal created in 2013 by the Network of Strategic Management in Higher Education (RED-DEES) in collaboration with the Directorate of Scientific and Technical Information (DICt) of the University of Ciego de Ávila “Máximo Gómez Báez”. This serial publication aims to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge, the promotion of cultural and academic exchange, scientific development, and the training and improvement of university professionals' performance in the areas of university management and strategic direction in the Ibero-American region.
The thematic profile of the journal covers, among others, the following areas: trends in university management and strategic direction; institutional-level management; management of university processes; strategic direction oriented towards quality; planning, alignment, and strategic control in universities; management of indicators supporting strategic university direction; knowledge management, organizational learning, and university strategy; foresight in higher education; training and development of university administrators; comparative studies in the fields of university management and strategic direction; automated systems supporting university management; university management and local development; strategic direction and university social responsibility; academic networks and university management; process and results-based management in the university; risk management and university strategy; tools supporting strategic university management; university evaluation and accreditation.
Universidad & ciencia fue fundada en el año 2012 bajo el auspicio del Departamento de Gestión de la Información y el Conocimiento de la Universidad de Ciego de Ávila Máximo Gómez Báez. La revista asume la misión de publicar artículos científicos de carácter nacional e internacional sobre temas relacionados con el desarrollo de diferentes ciencias: agrónomas, económicas, informáticas, técnicas y sociales (excepto temas de ciencias pedagógicas). Asimismo, involucra investigadores, profesores y estudiantes de diferentes áreas del conocimiento en las ciencias técnicas. A partir del número 3 de 2024 asume la publicación continua con una frecuencia cuatrimestal y publica sus contenidos bajo licencia Creative Commons Attribution-NonComercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0). Se permite su copia, transformación y distribución por cualquier medio siempre que se mantenga el reconocimiento de sus autores y no se haga uso comercial de los contenidos.
