How to train Senior High School teachers to guide environmental education?

Abstract

The current environmental problems in the world are threatening the existence of the planet, so it is imminent to develop environmental education, with a sustainable development approach for all citizens, being a priority for the Ministry of Education, so that it is necessary for the preparation of teachers to meet this request. However, there are limitations in the training of teachers to manage environmental education from the process of learning of Chemistry in Senior High Schools in Ciego de Avila province. To contribute to solve the difficulties encountered, in this article some suggestions are given on how to train the Senior High School teachers to manage environmental education based on Chemistry.
