Methodology for maintenance management in Cubiza base business unit in Ciego de Avila

Abstract

This article presents a methodology for Maintenance Management in the CUBIZA Base Business Unit in Ciego de Ávila, to respond to the company's commitment to developing plans that maintain and optimize the operation of its equipment, ensuring a high availability and reliability. The technical-economic indicators and the audit of the 20 attributes are presented, as the main tools in the diagnosis of the management of the Maintenance function, which allow analyzing and evaluating the management of said function in the vehicle fleet of cranes in the entity and at the same time, identify the main causes that influence the process. The results of the analysis of the coefficient of technical disposition will show the general technical state of the vehicle fleet of cranes during its exploitation and the audit of the 20 attributes will reveal the qualitative level that the management of the maintenance function may have. Finally, an improvement plan must be proposed with short and long-term measures, considering the highest priority attributes identified in the application of the tools.
