Agroforestry systems provide alternatives that contribute to socioeconomic development, recovery, conservation of natural resources and the environment; Therefore, technical scientific importance is given to these systems. The present work was carried out in areas of the CCS Alberto Más, where an experiment was carried out at the production level with three treatments, a polyculture of mahogany with plantain, a monoculture of mahogany and another of plantain, in order to carry out a comparative study. to determine an effective mahogany plantation method in the conditions of the Primero de Enero municipality. To carry out the evaluations, 6 points distributed diagonally were taken in each of the treatments, neglecting 10 m of edge, determining height, stem diameter, number of branches and growth rate for mahogany; and for plantain height, diameter of the pseudostem and yield per plant. Data processing was performed using the SPSS statistical utility, performing a onefactor anova and Duncan's test for the means under study of the parameters evaluated, determining significance. Income, cost per unit, cost per peso, utility and profitability were determined for the economic analysis. The results of the evaluations in the polyculture were superior to those of the monoculture in the case of mahogany, not behaving like this in plantain where there were no significant differences. It was determined that the most effective mahogany plantation method of the treaties, for the conditions of the municipality, is the polyculture of mahogany with.
