Introduction: the irrigation of plants with magnetically treated water constitutes a promising agricultural practice. The research focuses on analyzes of the results of the effect of water treated with magnetic fields on some variables and indicators in cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) cultivation. Objective: to evaluate the effects of magnetically treated water on fruit length, length and thickness of stems, length and width of leaflets, the quantity of flowers and the crop yield. Methods: two treatments were designed and applied: the first with irrigation by means of the use of magnetically untreated water and the second with irrigation water subjected to a magnetic treatment and induction in the range [0.05-0.07] Tesla. Results: the plants irrigated with magnetically treated water showed a greater quantity of male and female flowers, as well as higher average values of the variables and indicators of interest. Conclusion: cucumber plants cultivated with magnetically treated water show greater development in relation with the lengths of the fruits, stems and leaflets, the thickness of the stems and the width of the leaflets, as well as in the greater quantity of male and female flowers, reporting a higher crop yield.
