Introduction: Chocho (Lupinus mutabilis Sweet) is an Andean crop with high nutritional value that contributes to food security and soil fertility. However, its productivity can be limited by inadequate management practices. Objective: to evaluate the effect of three biofertilizers on the agronomic performance of chocho under the conditions of the Salache campus. Method: a randomized complete block design was used with four treatments (Fertibacter, Biol, foliar fertilizer, and a control without application) and three replications, totaling 12 experimental units. The variables evaluated included plant height, days to flowering, number of branches and pods, days to maturity, and grain yield. Results: analysis of variance (ANOVA) revealed no statistically significant differences greater than 0.05 for most variables, except for the number of first-order branches, where treatments with Fertibacter and foliar fertilizer showed better performance less than 0.05. Grain yield did not show significant differences among treatments. Conclusion: the application of the evaluated biofertilizers did not increase chocho productivity compared to the control, suggesting that the crop's response is more influenced by genetic and environmental factors than by the products applied at the dosages used.
