Focus and Scope
"Estrategia y Gestión Universitaria" is a scientific journal that aims to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge, the promotion of cultural and academic exchange, scientific development, and the training and improvement of university professionals' performance in the areas of university management and strategic direction in the Ibero-American region.
The thematic profile of the journal covers, among others, the following areas: trends in university management and strategic direction; institutional-level management; management of university processes; strategic direction oriented towards quality; planning, alignment, and strategic control in universities; management of indicators supporting strategic university direction; knowledge management, organizational learning, and university strategy; foresight in higher education; training and development of university administrators; comparative studies in the fields of university management and strategic direction; automated systems supporting university management; university management and local development; strategic direction and university social responsibility; academic networks and university management; process and results-based management in the university; risk management and university strategy; tools supporting strategic university management; university evaluation and accreditation.
Publication Frequency
"Estrategia y Gestión Universitaria" is published semi-annually, contributing to an annual volume. Since 2020, articles are published as soon as they are ready under continuous publication. The first issue opens on January 1st and closes on June 30th, while the second issue opens on July 1st and closes on December 31st.
Charges
The Journal "Estrategia y Gestión Universitaria" does not charge any fees for the submission, evaluation, and publication of submitted articles, nor for authors and readers. Peer reviewers do not receive any financial compensation for their valuable contribution.
