Data sharing policy

Estrategia y Gestión Universitaria is in favor of a more open research context, thus facilitating a much more rapid and effective investigative finding by allowing the reproducibility and verification of data, as well as methodology and reporting standards.

In this sense, we encourage all those authors who intend to publish in our journal to share and disseminate the data of their studies, that is: raw data, processed data, software, algorithms, protocols, models, methods, materials and tools, among others. others.

As of 2024, consequently, with the philosophy of open science, our journal requires all authors to provide contributions of processed or unprocessed research data from all of their articles, whether they are scientific and technological research articles or articles review. This includes databases in Excel®, IBM SPSS®, R-Studio® codes, among others. It is important to highlight that the omission of sensitive information about study participants must be taken into account. (May not apply to qualitative research)

For these purposes we suggest data repositories SciELO Data (https://data.scielo.org/) and Zenodo (https://zenodo.org/), which provide the possibility for authors to have permanent DOI identifiers, which guarantee the persistence of this data to be reused.
