Performance of the tutor in the pedagogical training of assistant students of the Stomatology career
Abstract
In the improvement in the performance of the Tutor in the pedagogical training of the assistant students of the Stomatology career, little development of the teaching, academic, research and extension components is appreciated, such as the teaching activities that are circumscribed to the subject related to the Specialty and do not refer to pedagogical aspects such as: the limited appropriation of didactic content, lack of motivation in the participation of students in the class festival, as well as ignorance of pedagogical foundations when carrying out educational teaching activities. Theoretical and empirical methods were used in the development of the research that made it possible to describe the performance of the tutor in the pedagogical training of assistant students of the Stomatology career. The deepening of the study allowed us to specify that this has gone through different stages, from almost general neglect only to supply exodus of teachers, to becoming one of the objectives of the professional model of the Stomatology career, for which it is suggested the creation of a strategy for the development of the professional improvement of said tutors.
