Management of the pedagogical professional guidance for beginner university professorship at teacher’s department
Abstract
The management of the pedagogical professional guidance to the professorship constitutes a challenge for nowadays university as a result of the multiplicity of the professional profiles of the professorship, also from the functions they must assume and the teaching competences they must develop to fulfill their new roles. At Ciego de Ávila University there are certain difficulties at the management of the pedagogical professional guidance for beginner university professorship related to the limitations of the process of identification of their teaching guidance needs. This paper presents the results of an investigation made to characterize the state of the process of determination of the needs of the pedagogical professional guidance of the beginners professorship it was corroborated that in the process of determination of the needs of pedagogical professional guidance of the beginners professorship not always the mentors’ opinions are taking into consideration so as the students, and the professorship itself; and at the teacher’s departments there is a lack of scientific validated instruments to determine the above mentioned needs.
