Mobile devices: a necessary tool for knowledge management

Abstract

The Cuban government has promoted the computerization program of Cuban society, a fact that has allowed us to enjoy Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), in various processes and life in society. In the field of education, for a long time we have used the computer as an object of study, as a means of teaching and as a work tool. In this way, the professionals in charge of the study and development of Informatics Didactics have dedicated innumerable efforts in this sense.Currently this reality is changing by leaps and bounds as mobile devices are a widely used tool, to such an extent that it makes us see the Teaching-Learning Process of Computer Science in a different way. Precisely for this reason, the article presents the results of a research process, which included a bibliographic and documentary review in the search and understanding of theories that support the use of mobile devices as an important tool in knowledge management, in addition to propose methodological considerations for the introduction of mobile learning in the Bachelor of Computer Education career.
